Hello lovely people of the internet!
I seem to have unintentionally taken some time off but I am back! I apologize for that break but every time school starts up again, I just have to sit back and figure out how to handle everything. Moving along from that, it is monthly favorites time! These are by far my favorite things to write and I would love to hear your favorites from the first month of the new year!
Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion
This is not the first time that this has appeared on my blog. I had it on one of my empties post and said I was going to try something new. Never let me do that again! This stuff is the bomb and it works like a charm. I get blemishes more in the winter and dry patches on my face and this is just the best thing for that. Never again will I leave you, Murad.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude
I picked this up in the Sephora death trap, right before you check out, on a whim. Go impulsive me. This is the shit, I seriously love this. Like I said, my skin is more on the dry side in the winter and this just helps so much. I love how it feels on my face and it lasts all day. It definitely is more of a sheer coverage but that is perfect for me right now. This is a travel size, which I love, because I like trying products out before buying the full size.
Nars Blush Orgasm
This is actually a little travel sized palette (featured here) but I specifically want to focus on the blush. This has been my favorite blush of the month, maybe of all time. I’ve had this palette for quite awhile but I was apprehensive about it at first, don’t know why, but now I’m in love. The one downfall of loving the blush the most is that I have to cart around the whole thing for one portion, so I may just end up buying the blush on its own!
Stila Eyes are the Window Palette in Soul
This is something that I would always swatch in Sephora and just think about how pretty the colors and packaging are. Then I was watching Claire Marshall’s December favorites and she mentioned this. Throughout the video, I was thinking about how much I liked her eye shadow, and she said she used this. I was sold. The colors are so pretty and they are so easy to mix and match. The mirror is huge so it is perfect for travel. I highly recommend checking this out!
Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water
Let me tell you, this was a bitch to photograph. I could not find a good way to do so and for that I apologize. I have been on the hunt for something like this for a long time and I am so happy I found this. It takes all of your makeup off and makes your skin feel and look great. It is the perfect easy product and it is going to take me so long to get through. Definitely a deal!
There we have it. My January favorites all wrapped into one little blog post. I do love blogging and I love blogging about the things I enjoy most. During my little hiatus I was thinking about this and I have decided that I am still going to post once a week, just not always on the same day i.e. Saturdays. Sometimes creativity strikes me when I least expect it, so I am going to cling to that and hope that, maybe, it’ll lead to multiple posts a week. I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the year and I’ll talk to you some time.
Keep Being You!
