If I could I would go back and take more pictures. Unfortunately, you just can’t change the past. The wedding was so much fun and the day will always live on in my heart.

To my wonderful cousin, I am so happy for you! I cannot wait to see the life that you and your wife create together!

5 Summer Essentials!

5 Summer Essentials!

Well, I’ve been done with school for over a month now and thought I’d share my summer faves. I have a little life update below if you’d like to check that out! But now, let’s get into the makeup!

1 // Eyeshadow Primer // Too Faced Shadow Insurance

I’m a person that has makeup slide off my face all over, but the worst culprit is my eye makeup. This has been my favorite eye primer for a long time as it keeps it in place!

2 // Tinted Lip Balm with SPF // Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Ruby

I am so bad at remembering to apply SPF. I’m even worse at putting it on my lips, which when it burns hurts so bad. I love these little Fresh lip balms. They’re so pretty and contain spf!

3 // Waterproof Eyeliner // Lorac Front of the Line PRO

Summer means sweating, as gross as that sounds. I’ve found the net eyeliner for me is one that is waterproof. This eyeliner stays in place all day and I adore it.

4 // Setting Spray // Urban Decay Deslick

If I’ve done a face of makeup, I want it to stay put. The best way to do that is with a setting spray. Plus in the summer I get shiny and gross. This setting spray helps me keep the matte complexion I want.

5 // Eyebrow Gel // Anastasia Clear Brow Gel

Back to sliding makeup, my eyebrows are probably the worst culprit. I do them and look in the mirror and they’re half gone, not cute. With a clear gel like this, they’ll stay in place and last so much longer.

What are your summer essentials?

As I mentioned, another year is over. In the fall, I’ll be beginning my senior year of college! But perhaps more exciting, I will be spending my final, spring semester in London!

May Favorites!

May Favorites!

It’s that time of year again! Time to review my favorite products from the month before! Sadly, I never posted my April favorites, so I threw a few in this one and will individually review the other products later. Let’s go!

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in Buttercream

Lets kick it off with this little gem. I bought this at the end of winter when my skin was the driest, I think, it’s ever been. This was a little miracle in a bottle. It looks best on me when my skin is relatively clear but the coverage can be built up. I love how it feels on the skin and the natural look of it. I use my fingers to apply it, but I was wondering if anyone tried the brush made for this? I’d be curious to know if it was worth the purchase.

L’Oreal La Palette Nude 1

I saw this at my beloved Target and decided I needed to try it. I adore it. People always rave about the Maybelline Nudes palette, but, personally, I do not like that one. This one however is so gorgeous. I love the colors and the pigmentation. I’d say this might be a semi dupe for the Stila Eyes Are The Window Soul Palette. If it is a nude eyeshadow palette, I’m bound to adore it.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

This little beauty made its way to me through an Ipsy bag. I’ve had many a mascara open as of late so I didn’t really give this a go until this month. I love it. I love how it makes my lashes look. The formula seems superb. I don’t know really what else to say for a mascara. I’d definitely recommend this one!

Lorac Front of the Line Pro in Black

Back in the days of all the Holiday sets that suck you in and take all of your money, this was in one of them. I tried it out then and wrote off because I didn’t like it and was loyal to my Kat Von D. But, on a whim, I recently dug this out and my lord do I love it. I love the color, it lasts all day, and it is easy for me to apply. I think in the last few months, I have gotten control of my eyeliner skills and new products aren’t as scary.

NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler

I’ve had this for awhile and it is no secret that I adore these Butter Glosses. I wouldn’t be surprised at if some point in my life, I had one in every color. I think that this is the perfect shade for Spring/Summer. It is not to overwhelming and it just looks so God damn pretty on. This is a staple in my bag in the summer.

Another month gone! Man, how the hell is it already June? Personally, this year has not been the best but I’m hoping for a mid year turnaround! Keep you head up y’all!
