All About that Base

All About that Base

Hello! Sorry about the missed post last week, school has been a bit more hectic then I thought it would be. Please bear with me this semester, as it is my last in the states! Next semester I’ll be in London then I’ll graduate! Ahhhh, scary.

As previously mentioned, I’m writing posts on products that would’ve been in my favorites. This post is focusing on 2 bases: a face base and an eyeshadow base! Enjoy!

Nars Eyeshadow Base

This is a beauty blogger/vlogger favorite that is talked about a lot. I always wanted to give it a go seeing as I have super oily eyelids- weird thing to say. Previously, I was using Too Faced Shadow Insurance, but for some reason it just stopped working for me. This stuff is like glue. My eyeshadow and eyeliner stays put all day and there is no creasing! I put this on a few steps before I apply my eye makeup so that it gets a bit tacky, which I think helps the eye shadow stick. This is seriously the best base for those that want long lasting eye makeup. It is worth the splurge.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation in 4 Fair

Another fan favorite that is mentioned quite often in the blog world is this. Oh my god, can I see why. There is something about this foundation that makes it look like your skin, but better. There is a light-medium coverage, but that way it looks so natural and so pretty. I seriously feel like I’m glowing when I wear this, and in a good way. I have oily skin and this foundation completely works for me. I don’t think that I could praise this stuff enough. Plus if you buy it online they send you a mini packet of the shade above and below the one you bought so you can ensure the correct color match. Seriously, check it out.

There we are! I hope that you enjoyed this post. I am going to try my best to keep up with my blog posts but, as previously mentioned, this semester is jam packed. So please bear with me! I want to know how you are doing, let me know with a comment below or tweet me @missemily_marie!

Keep Being You!
